Year one at Gardening Scotland

We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who visited our stand at this year’s Gardening Scotland. This was our first year taking part in the national outdoor living show at Ingliston, and while it involved a lot of hard work and some very long hours, we were absolutely thrilled to be awarded a Silver medal for our efforts!

The lucky winner of our Gardening Scotland prize draw is Mr George Harvey of Elie in Fife. Mr Harvey will receive a £50 plant voucher to spend at the East Neuk Perennials nursery and a bottle of champagne. Congratulations!

For those of you who made it along, we hope you enjoyed your visit on what was a truly glorious and sunny weekend. We also hope to see you there again, with our plants, next year...

With Gardening Scotland over for this year, we’d like to tell you a little about what’s on the agenda for East Neuk Perennials for the rest of the summer, and where you can find us. As always, you can visit us at our Colinsburgh nursery by appointment – please contact us in advance to arrange a suitable time. We will also be taking part in a variety of plant sales as part of the Scotland’s Gardens open days on the following dates and locations:

July

Sat 16th & Sun 17th July - Crail, Small Gardens in the Burgh

Sun 24th July - Balcaskie/Kellie Castle

August

Sun 7th August, Elie town centre

September

Sun 11th September, Balcarres

You can find out more details about each of the events above on the Scotland’s Gardens website. At these plant sales we will be offering top tips and advice for how to make the most of your garden this year and also, of course, selling a range of hardy herbaceous perennials. To find out what we have on sale and what is in season, please look at our 2016 catalogue.

Best wishes

Karen & Sue
